A TSHIRT STORE FAN STORY

My name is José González, I´m from Venezuela but I live in Spain for more than 3 years NOW

Ever since I arrived in Europe it was like entering another dimension, its a world thats totally different to the one i come from and since i lived next to the sea it was a drastic change for me. But it wasnt diffficult to adapt and create my own world, a world where the sky´s the limit and thanks to this i´ve been able to carry out the ideas i create in my mind and imagination. A guy that likes breaking away from the norm and is constantly in search of different things and different cultures and exchanges. I´m creative and open to all learning possibilities that life has to offer me.

TSS-Why do you like Tshirt Store so much?

I´m a great admirer and folloWer of graphic desginers, plastic artists, illustrators and photographers.

I´m also a very demanding man when choosing my clothes, specifically top quality t-shirts. Tshirt store's shirts are unique models and the selection is great ...

TSS-How did you find TSS?

I was on holidays at Tarifa, southern point of Europe and surf mecca when I first saw the Tshirt Store logo, I got into the store and fell amazed with the variety of designs... the owner (who is currently working on bringing Tshirt Store to Spain) told me about the brand, the organic fabrics, the designers, that it was a pop-up pilot store, THE first one in Spain... we agreed on starting a collaboration which still lasts in terms of promotion through my pictures... I feel very involved with the project of Tshirt Store Spain, hope to get it rocking soon!!!

TSS-What is the inspiration for the "Tshirt Store around the world" pictures?

Being a fan of photography, as i mentioned earlier, i could take advantage of this opportunity to colloborate and share my ideas with various photgrapher friends and create this work. Your designs are my inspiration, they focus my mind through my eyes to start projecting in pictures my conceptions. The uniqness in each t-shirt always sends a message.

TSS-Tell us why Tshirt Store is needed in Spain?

Right now there is no store that sells just tshirts in Spain with this mix of affordable desing, sustainability and innovative approach. Young people like street art, ecology, design and tshirts but at a good price!! And that's what tshirt store offers.

TSS-Why is Tshirt Store better than other tshirt brands?

For It's quality, organic cotton, and designs. Above all, the support it gives artists and designers to show their marsterpieces.

TSS-Tell us something about you that we don't know!

I studied Sports rehabilitation and physiotherapy in Venezuela but as the years have gone by i´ve travelled a lot and at the same time learnt other things like photography, modelling, skating and public relations. I´ve worked in every one of these spheres and the truth is that along the way life has shown me that i
didn´t have to trap myself in four world but i could break free and learn other things.

11 years ago i worked as a model for Benetton Venezuela and other local brands the same as here in Spain, with a trend-setter called Antonio Madrigal. A profession that i didnt have to study, it was simply something that has always caught my eye. I´ve always hung out with friends who were involved in the modelling world and introduced me to people that signed me up for fashion shows and up until now its been positive. I think that apart from having a base from which to do what you want you shoud also enjoy it and feel like doing it, after just let everything flow...

I´ve been rollerblading for 14 year and at the moment i represent flow team Spain, Crazy doctor and onelove rolling distribution.
I´ve done photography for two muscians -... from Japan and Danar Insert Coinz- in Sevile, Spain I´ve also DONE work for Sevillaink Tatoo and piercing parlour.

Currrently I´m involved in and Art event (Wet day) where we have the participation of tattoo artists, sculptors, illustrators, painters and graffitti artits in the south of Spain and SO FAR its had a lot of success. Our artits have a lot of potential and i am sure that they would love to present in the future, work that could be printed on t`shirts- And with time, the t-shirt store would have designs from artists not just from one counrty but also global support.

And apPart from all this I´m a normal guy who likes to have fun, go out, dance and above all, travel.

I try to learn and do everything that I can, in the world you just have to be open to every opportunity since for a lot of people like myself, one of the best schools is the school of life.
